#CMT# #/CMT# The endoscope has an electronic camera (4) and a light source i.e. LED, provided at an endoscope head, and an operating channel (3) for inserting of a workpiece and for removing of sample to/from an examination-/operation place. The camera is selectively guided within the channel or placed outside of the channel, in order to release the camera for the workpiece or the sample. The camera is implemented from the channel into a rotation direction, and is laterally moved to an opening of the channel. The camera is retained in a position in the channel by a spring. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Endoscope i.e. chip-on-the-tip endoscope, for use in a medical instrument i.e. micro mechanical cutting tool, for visualization of examination-/operation place, and for medical examination, intervention and analysis of a patient. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The endoscope is designed such that the entire endoscope diameter is available for the camera, thus permitting use of camera with higher diameter and higher spatial resolution or light intensity.
