PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower with a silencing box capable of suppressing the reduction of air capacity due to a collision of air current with a terminal block base when the terminal block base fixing a power terminal block is arranged in a machine body. SOLUTION: In the blower with the silencing box, a double intake type centrifugal blower in the inside of the box-like machine body has casing side plates provided with outlets, spiral scrolls and casing intakes on its both side surfaces, and a casing side plate front air passage sandwiched between machine body inner surfaces opposing the casing intake is formed. The terminal block base fixing the power terminal block in its inside is disposed so as to be projected from the surface of the machine body into the casing side plate front air passage of a motor side. Thereby, the blower with the silencing box can suppress the reduction of the air capacity due to the collision of the air current with the terminal block base when the terminal block base is arranged in the machine body.
