<p>The invention relates to a device for producing granules from liquid materials. It is an object of the invention to produce granules from liquid materials, which involves spraying and air-drying liquid materials such as green vegetable juice extracted from an edible plant, liquid medicine or the like to a powder form, and spraying a granule-inducing liquid over the dry powder to granulate the powder by interbonding therebetween, followed by drying the granulated powder and leaving out granules from the liquid material. In this way, liquid materials that may be easily spoiled can be preserved over long periods of time, the granules thus prepared dissolve well in a solvent like water and are made ready for use, and active ingredients such as vitamins in the liquid materials are not destroyed as the drying and granulation steps are combined into one without a heat treating step. That is, the invention provides a device for producing granules from liquid materials, wherein liquid materials are sprayed and air-dried to a powder form, and a granule-inducing liquid is then sprayed over the powder, giving rise to interbonding of the powder particles for granulation. Therefore, the invention is advantageous in that easily spoilable liquid materials can be preserved over long periods of time by drying and granulating liquid materials such as green vegetable juice extracted from an edible plant, liquid medicine or the like, that facility costs and operational cost are cut down as the drying and granulation steps are performed through a single device, that granules prepared from an edible plant easily dissolve in water and do not leave any precipitates because the granules are basically composed of juice extracted by crushing the edible plant, that granules have good texture and are absorbed fast, leaving no remains when taken straight into the mouth, and that heat-sensitive nutrients such as vitamins are not destroyed as a heat treating step is not included.</p> |
