The system (1) comprises a motor (5) with an output shaft (6), a continuously variable transmission, a planetary gear (16) and a drive shaft. The transmission comprises a primary pulley (7), a secondary pulley (11) and a drive belt (10), the two pulleys providing a connection with a variable transmission ratio. The planetary gear comprises a sun wheel (15) with a shaft (14) connected to the secondary pulley, a ring wheel (19) and at least one planetary wheel (17) connected to a planetary support (18). A rotary part chosen from the primary pulley, planetary support and ring wheel is connected to the output shaft, one of the two rotary parts not connected to the output shaft is connected to the drive shaft and the remaining rotary part not connected to the output shaft or drive shaft is connected to the output shaft in such a way that the ring and sun wheels rotate in opposite directions.
