<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box culvert with an oblique angle, which enables a uniform tension to be applied to an end surface of an anchoring portion, when it is tightened in a connecting direction, and which prevents an end surface of a joint of the box culvert from being displaced by sliding. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This box culvert with the oblique angle is formed by inclining the end surface 10 of the joint with respect to an axis line (b) orthogonal to an connecting-direction axis line (a). Structurally, the end surface 8 of the anchoring portion, which is composed of a tendon including its sidewall 1, is formed as a vertical plane orthogonal to the direction of the arrangement of the tendon.
