<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a membrane electrode assembly capable of suppressing generation of wrinkles. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the membrane electrode assembly (100) includes a hot press process to hot press a solvent holding member (30), holding a solvent containing the same component as the solvent used in a catalyst ink (50) on a solid polymer electrolyte membrane (10); a removal process to remove the solvent holding member; and a coating process to coat the catalyst ink on the solid polymer electrolyte membrane after removal process. According to the manufacturing method of the membrane electrode assembly, even if the catalyst ink is coated on the solid polymer electrolyte membrane in the coating process, generation of wrinkles in the solid polymer electrolyte membrane is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
