PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device, reducing the width of a non-display area formed outside of a display area. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal layer 150 held between substrates 110, 120; a driving electrode 210 and a terminal electrode 211 formed on the substrate 110; a driving electrode 220 and a terminal electrode 221 formed on the substrate 120; and a connecting member 510 connected to the terminal electrodes 211, 221. The connecting member 510 includes a base part 511 covering a terminal forming part 211, a base part 512 covering a terminal forming part 221, a connecting part 513 connecting the base parts 511, 512, extraction wiring 514 provided on the base part 511 to extract the terminal electrode 211 to the upper side surface of a laminated body, and extraction wiring 515 provided on the base part 512 to extract the terminal electrode 221 to the right side surface of the laminated body.
