<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drunken driving prevention device preventing the drunken driving by detecting the act of dishonesty of the driver to an identification means. <P>SOLUTION: This drunken driving prevention device 1 comprises a dishonesty prevention means 4 having an alcohol detection means 2 for determining whether an alcohol concentration contained in a gas to be measured is less than a reference value or not and a driver collating means 3 for confirming the identification of the driver by comparing a pre-registered personal collation factor with a personal collation factor input by the driver and preventing the dishonesty to the alcohol detection means and/or the driver collation means; and an engine start permission means 9 for allowing the start of an engine, when the alcohol concentration is determined to be less than the reference value by the alcohol detection means, the personal identification is performed by the driver collation means, and the dishonesty to the alcohol detection means and/or the driver collation means is prevented by the dishonesty prevention means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
