<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device that prints an input image during a fixing warmup period. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In order to solve the problem, the image processing device includes: an input means for entering image data; a detecting means for detecting a state of a fixing device that fixes image data to transfer paper; a calculating means for calculating an amount of attached toner able to fix image data, based on the result of detection made by a detecting means; a processing means for performing image processing for the image data in accordance with the amount of attached toner calculated by the calculating means; and an output means to output image data obtained through the processing of an image by use of the processing means.
