<p>The invention relates to a system for inputting a motor torque and a transmission ratio in a vehicle having a continuously variable transmission ( 3 ) with means ( 202 ) for determining a desired motor torque ( 205 ) while considering a signal representing a driver command; means ( 203 ) for determining a desired transmission ratio ( 206 ) while considering a signal representing a driver command; and, means ( 201 ) for determining the signal representing the driver command. The signal, which represents the driver command, is a relative driver accelerative force command ( 204, 204 ').
