The panel has a stratified panel (10) with a main layer (11) and an outer layer (12). A groove is provided in the outer layer, where the groove is pushed upto the main layer. An adhesive is provided in the groove, and a decorative border has projection elements that fit partly in the adhesive to permit mechanical anchoring of the border in the adhesive, where the border covers the groove, and the projection elements are L-shaped or T-shaped. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a door or window comprising a hinge (2) a method for fabricating a decorative panel.
