<p>The present invention relates to a device for enclosing at least one product, such as a box, a packaged product or a product per se, with at least three corners, in a substantially resiliently stretchable and tubular film, comprising: grippers (6), one of which is arranged at each of the corners of the product for together engaging at least a free peripheral edge of the tubular film; moving means which co-act with the grippers (6) to selectively move the grippers one of toward each other and away from each other; and displacing means which co-act with the grippers for displacement thereof at least along the product in a position moved apart relative to each other, therein arranging the tubular film round the product. At least one of the grippers (6) also comprises : a conveyor; and a drive for the conveyor, wherein the drive for the conveyor of the gripper transports film away from the grippers at a speed adapted to a speed of displacement of the grippers along the product and releases the film to close round the product. Film can thus be arranged round at least one (or a stack of) products more easily and with material-saving.</p> |
