The invention relates to a polymerisable mass, comprising a) acrylates and/or methacrylates, with a glass transition temperature Tg of 0 °C or less, b) 0.5 to 70 wt. % SiO2 particles with a mean particle size of 1 to 150 nm, with polymerisable groups on the surface dispersed in the acrylates and/or methacrylates, wherein the SiO2 particles are made up of at least 50% of individual non-aggregated or agglomerated primary particles the mass comprising a maximum of 2 wt. % of cross-linker molecules.
