The vehicle has an open carrier (2) with a floor pan (20), and a trough (3) with a base (30) for receiving green waste, where the trough is pivotingly mounted on the open carrier between a loading position and a storing or transporting position. The trough extends at a side of the open carrier and presents the base at a level lowered with respect to the floor pan in the loading position. The trough partially covers the open carrier in the storing or transporting position. The trough is pivotingly mounted around a horizontal rotation axis parallel to a side wall of the open carrier.
