PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a correcting accuracy of concentration fluctuation caused by the error of the recording property of recording elements. SOLUTION: A method for suppressing streak irregularity by correcting image data corresponding to each of the recording elements using at least recording point position displacement information includes specifying the second recording element which is the recording point position closest to the recording point position of the first recording element corresponding to the first image data exceeding an output image concentration range and distributing total concentration to the image data of both by the value within the output concentration range while keeping the total concentration of the concentrations according to both in the case the image concentration value shown by the corrected image data exceeds the output image concentration range.
