METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF IMPACT VISCOSITY OF EBONITE

摘要

Method for determination of impact viscosity of ebonite includes application of impact load to middle of sample installed on two supports. Besides that in the middle part of the sample normally with respect to its broad face as concentrator of stresses one performs acute cut with depth 0.5 mm with angle at top 45°, and effect of cut on impact viscosity of ebonite is evaluated with effective coefficient of concentration of stresses К, that is calculated by ratio of value of impact viscosity of eboniteof cut sample to impact viscosityof smooth at same cross section net by formula:where:- impact viscosity of sample with cut;- impact viscosity of smooth sample.
