A die assembly comprises a barrel die (4) having a cylindrical inner surface, a sleeve (5) covering the outer peripheral surface of the barrel die, and a pair of core dies (1, 2) for pressing a preform in the cylindrical inner surface of the barrel die. At least one of the paired core dies is guided onto the cylindrical inner surface of the barrel die so as to be capable of sliding. The sleeve (5) is characterized in that the sleeve does not allow a light having wavelength of 5 µm or shorter to pass therethrough and has a heat conductivity of 70 W/m·K or higher.
