ARRANGEMENT FOR ADUJSTING NOZZLE BOXES

Arrangement for adjusting outwards blowing devices of air, such as nozzle boxes (4), meant for cooling glass (7) in the tempering unit in which arrangement nozzle boxes (4) are adjacent, horizontal boxes the bottom of which is equipped with air blowing holes (8) and in the arrangement at least one part of the mentioned boxes can be adjustably positioned on the glass plate (7) to be cooled and/or underneath it according to the form of the glass plate (7) bent at various altitudes. In the arrangement each box (4) that can be adjusted in relation to its position can separately be moved supported by the horizontal supports (1) to the desired distance positions (s) in relation to the adjacent box (4), each box can be adjusted to various altitudes concerning the mentioned supports (1) and further each box can be separately turned around its x-axis in order to direct the air flow blown from the box (4) orthogonally towards the glass plate.
