AIR-COOLED TEMPERING DEVICE AND AIR-COOLED TEMPERING METHOD FOR GLASS PLATE

<p>An air-cooled tempering device and an air-cooled tempering method for a glass plate, wherein air-cooled tempering can be performed for a whole glass plate uniformly without being affected by a pitch between rollers and a roller diameter. A main body of a roller composing the air-cooled tempering device is configured in such a manner that a rotation axis is formed by inserting a plurality of ring rollers into a guide shaft permitting the curved operation and by fitting the adjacent ring rollers to each other for coupling, and disc rollers to be fixed to the ring rollers thereafter are disposed at given intervals so that the disc rollers fixed to the adjacent ring rollers never overlap each other in the carrying direction of the glass plate. On the other hand, blowing modules are provided to be freely rotatable relative to the rotation axis via a bearing on ring rollers located between the disc rollers. The main body of the roller can be curved by coupling the ring rollers to curve the guide shaft in such a manner, and air-cooled tempering is performed by blowing the cooled air onto the glass plate from the blowing modules while carrying the glass plate by means of the disc rollers rotated via the ring rollers.</p>
