<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile driving method for driving a pile while easily maintaining the perpendicular accuracy of the pile, and the pile and a pile driving tool. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The pile 10 is formed in bottomed hollow shape having a bottom part 12 at the tip. The bar shaped pile driving tool 15 is inserted in the pile 10 to abut on the bottom part 12 in the pile 10, and a descending force is applied to the upper part of the pile driving tool 15 to push down the bottom part 12 of the pile 10.
