<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of quickly decomposing a volatile aromatic compound in a gas phase. <P>SOLUTION: The decomposition method of volatile aromatic compound is characterized in that the volatile aromatic compound is brought into contact with the following photocatalyst layer under photoirradiation. The photocatalyst layer is formed by dispersing photocatalytic titanium oxide particles and photocatalytic tungsten oxide particles into a dispersing medium, wherein the photocatalytic titanium oxide particles and the photocatalytic tungsten oxide particles respectively have the surfaces charged in the same polarity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
