PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress oil dilution and to improve the exhaust performance of a particulate matter and unburned fuel in a control device 40 of an internal combustion engine 1 which supplies oil to portions of a cylinder 2a to be lubricated by oil supply means 20, 23, recovers the oil, and supplies the oil again to the portions to be lubricated. SOLUTION: This control device 40 comprises determination means S1, S2 for determining whether the internal combustion engine 1 is in an operating state in which oil dilution is liable to occur and a remedial means S3 for reducing the supplied amount of oil by the oil supply means 20, 23 more than that in an operating state that oil dilution hardly occurs.
