摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device of an FFS mode, preventing the sticking by suppressing a shift of the center potential in common potential to improve display quality, and also to provide a manufacturing method of the liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: On a linear part 22E of a common electrode 22, an interface A between a linear part 22E and an inorganic film 23, an interface B between the inorganic film 23 and a first alignment film 24, and an interface C between the first alignment film 24 and liquid crystal LC exist in this order. On the other hand, on a formation area of a slit part 22S of the common electrode 22, an interface D between a pixel electrode 20 and an insulation film 21, an interface E between the insulation film 21 and the first alignment film 24, and an interface F between the first alignment film 24 and liquid crystal LC exist in this order. According to such a configuration, when an electric field is generated between the pixel electrode 20 and the linear part 22E of the common electrode 22, the stored amount of charge charged on the interfaces A, B, C on the linear part 22E are substantially equal to the stored amounts of charge charged on the interfaces D, E, F on the slit part 22S, respectively.
