<p>An object is to provide a magnetic head testing method and testing device for testing a magnetic response property by applying a high frequency magnetic field to a magnetic head immediately after processed to be in the shape of a rover. The magnetic head testing method comprises a step of generating magnetic fields in a parallel direction to a rotation axis different in at least one of strength and direction in adjacent positions from a plurality of magnetic generating sections provided with a predetermined gap therebetween in a circumference direction on the same circumference with a rotation axis in the center, and a step of testing the magnetic response property of the magnetic head by rotating the magnetic field generating section, sequentially applying the magnetic fields, which rotationally transfer in association with the rotation, to the magnetic head fixed in a predetermined direction.</p> |
