摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbine system for power generation, achieving improved turbine performance by use of a multi-axis device and/or a half speed power generator. SOLUTION: The turbine system for power generation includes an axial flow compressor 104 to pressurize flow of air. Pressurized flow of air is mixed with fuel to be burnt in a combustor 120, and flow of generated high temperature gas is introduced through a turbine. The turbine includes a high pressure turbine section 204 and a low pressure turbine section 208. The high pressure turbine section 204 is coupled through a first shaft 216 to the axial flow compressor 104, so that as it works, the high pressure turbine section 204 drives the axial flow compressor 104. The low pressure turbine section 208 is coupled through a second shaft 220 to a low speed power generator 212, so that as it works, the low pressure turbine section 208 drives the low speed power generator 212.
