The invention relates to a method for producing a plate-shaped composite element (8), comprising wood-containing elements (1) and a solid plastic material (2) in the intermediate spaces (3) of the wood-containing elements (1), wherein the method comprises the following steps: (i) non-solidified plastic material (2) is added into the intermediate spaces (3) between wood-containing units (9); (ii) the plastic material (2) is allowed to solidify, so that a composite block (10) is obtained from the units (8) and the curable plastic material (2); and (iii) plate-shaped composite elements (8) are separated from the compound block (10) using a separating device (11), said composite elements comprising wood-containing elements (1) and a solid plastic material (2) in the intermediate spaces (3) of the wood-containing elements (1). |
