PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for displaying a high-brightness and high-quality image while achieving power saving, and to provide an electronic apparatus provided with the display device. SOLUTION: The display device comprises: a light modulation device provided with a plurality of transmissive window parts; a light source device 3 provided with a light source 31 emitting light; a light guide member 4 provided with a tubular reflective surface 41 having a function of guiding light toward the light modulation device from the light source 31; and a reflection part which is disposed according to a part other than the transmissive window parts in the neighborhood of the light source 31 side of the light modulation device and/or in the light modulation device, and reflects light from the light guide member 4 to the light guide member 4 side. The tubular reflective surface 41 converges from the light modulation device side to the light source device 3 side so as to guide the light reflected on the reflection part to the transmissive window parts, and an inclination angleθwith respect to an axial line (optical axis OA) of the tubular reflection surface 41 is 8°or more.
