<p>Electrifier (1) for an electric fence, comprising at least one discharge capacitor (C), means for charging said at least one capacitor, a transformer (4) and a microcontroller (3) which is designed to control the discharge of said at least one capacitor into the primary (4a) of said transformer, characterized in that it comprises, in series, between said at least one capacitor and the primary of said transformer, a set of electrical tracks (P1, P2) having different impedances, and a switch (8) for selecting one track from said set of electrical tracks, the microcontroller (3) controlling said switch (8) according to conditions relating to the change in impedance across the terminals of said electrifier (1), and said microcontroller (3) controlling, in normal operation, said switch (8) so that said at least one capacitor (C) discharges via a single electrical track selected from said set of electrical tracks (P1 to Pi).</p> |
