Remineralizing chew toy comprises a polymer and/or an elastomer, which contain a matrix supported salt hydrate melt (up to 30 (preferably 10) wt.%), which is produced by: completely dissolving an organic calcium salt, consisting of organic acids, in warm water; concentrating the solution under reduced pressure; cooling at normal pressure and subsequently adding an organic acid; concentrating the solution under reduced pressure at a heating bath temperature of 50-150[deg] C; cooling the hot, pourable calcium salt hydrate melt at normal pressure; and supplying liquid into the matrix. Remineralizing chew toy comprises a polymer and/or an elastomer, which contain a matrix supported salt hydrate melt (up to 30 (preferably 10) wt.%), which is produced by: completely dissolving an organic calcium salt, consisting of organic acids, in warm water at 35-80[deg] C; concentrating the solution under reduced pressure at a heating bath temperature of 50-150[deg] C; cooling at normal pressure and subsequently adding an organic acid at constant temperature; concentrating the solution under reduced pressure at a heating bath temperature of 50-150[deg] C; cooling the hot, pourable calcium salt hydrate melt at normal pressure; and supplying liquid into the matrix or solid calcium salt hydrate melt in granulate form into the matrix.
