A coating barbell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent breakage of the barbell due to impact by making the barbell with a material having ductility such as soft steel etc. A manufacturing method of a coating barbell(100) includes the following steps of: forming a body(110) in which a plurality of metal disks(111) made by blanking are adhered; forming a bush(120) penetrating the center part of the body; heat-treating the bush to prevent abrasion; and coloring the bush to prevent the corrosion. A coating layer(130) is formed on the surface of the body.
