PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm unit enabling to extend service lives of the alarm unit, components of its driving circuit, and power supply components and assuring their operations. SOLUTION: A temperature sensor 4 provided separately from an environmental value detector 1 measures temperature inside the alarm unit or in the outer periphery near the alarm unit. A volume setting portion 5 determines a sound volume according to the temperature measured by the temperature sensor 4. When a controller 2 instructs an alarm portion 3 to issue an alarm upon occurrence of abnormality, the alarm portion 3 outputs an alarm of a sound volume determined by the volume setting portion 5.
