<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform alignment correction of different direction isolated images to an erected direction even when the different direction isolated images which turns sideways and can not be easily read are mixed in an electronic document prepared by utilizing a page aggregation function. <P>SOLUTION: Image density distributions in a main scanning direction and a sub-scanning direction are found out based on image information obtained through a document reading process or the like, a mixed state of different direction isolated images directed to mutually different directions in a page is obtained based on the found image density distributions, the different direction isolated images mixed in the page are respectively divided into individual isolated images based on the acquisition result, and after allocating each different page to each of the divided individual isolated images, all the isolated images are subjected to the alignment correction to be directed to the erected direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
