<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance working efficiencies for the inspection and replacement of an anode metal. <P>SOLUTION: In this anode metal mounting structure of an engine for an outboard motor, the anode metal 76 is installed in the cooling water passage 71 of the water-cooled engine 14 of the outboard motor. The water-cooled engine includes a metal mounting part 73 so formed on a wall 72 in which the cooling water passage is formed that the anode metal can be removed therefrom, a metal insertion hole 74 formed in the wall at a position where the metal insertion hole faces the metal mounting part, and a lid 90 for closing the metal insertion hole. The lid includes a closing part 91 for closing the metal insertion hole, an installation part 111 so installed on the cover mounting part 80 formed near the metal insertion hole as to be removed by rotating around the centerline CL of the metal insertion hole, and a knob 101 for rotating the installation part manually. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
