<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently assemble or manufacture a belt consisting of a plurality of elements and rings for annularly banding them. <P>SOLUTION: This belt assembling device 20 is provided for assembling the number of plate-piece elements 6 annularly arrayed in attitudinal alignment on the rings 9 which annularly band the elements 6. It comprises a load imparting means 28 for imparting loads to the rings 9 or the elements 6 to widen spaces between the elements 6 already assembled on the rings 9 in the process of assembling the elements 6 on the rings 9 in sequence.
