<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a rolling bearing with an outer ring fitted into the inner peripheral surface end of a housing, without a bearing fixing plate while causing neither looseness nor creep at a fitting part even if the housing is of aluminum die-casting. <P>SOLUTION: Softened parts 3a softened in comparison with other parts are formed at both outer peripheral surface corner ends of the outer ring 3, and the inner peripheral surface end material of the housing higher in compressive yield strength is caulked into the outer peripheral surface corner ends formed with the softened parts 3a. A deep groove ball bearing 1 with the outer ring 3 fitted into the inner peripheral surface end of the housing can thereby be fixed without the bearing fixing plate while causing neither looseness nor creep at the fitting part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
