PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cassette and a tape printing device which does not need replacement work or the like corresponding to the changes in the width even when a tape cassette whose widths are changed according to changes in the width of a film tape is used, and which can be made inexpensive. SOLUTION: In order to pull out a film tape 18 from a film tape spool 18 after a printing process in the middle, a tape feed roller 12 rotatably supported with respect to cassette cases 2 and 3 is disposed near the tape ejection parts of the cassette cases 2 and 3. In order to permit pressure contact of a pressure-contact roller 49 disposed near the tape feed roller 12 with the roller 12, recesses are formed on the cassette cases 2 and 3.
