PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muffler also usable as a cap which is capable of being worn not only as a cap but also as a muffler by wound around a neck to enjoy dressing up as a muffler. SOLUTION: The muffler 10 also usable as a cap is formed of a cylindrical body 11 having both blocked ends. The length along the longitudinal direction of the cylindrical body 11 is usually set to be in the range of 40-100 cm. The blocked ends 11a and 11b of the cylindrical body 11 are preferably formed into a semi-spherical shape. Tying strings 12a and 12b are attached at both ends of the cylindrical body 11. When the muffler 10 also usable as a cap is used as a muffler, both ends of the cylindrical body 11 can be fastened by binding the tying string 12a and the tying string 12b each other.
