PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asynchronous communication method in which data are transmitted and received in an asynchronous state while power consumption is reduced. SOLUTION: A reception-side radio communication terminal A performs data receiving operation only in a processing section Tr at intervals of a reception cycle (cycle period Tc), and sends back an acknowledge signal in a processing section Tr of a next reception cycle when data to a self-terminal are received. A transmission-side radio communication terminal B specifies one of slot sections Ts obtained by dividing a transmission cycle (cycle period Tc) into a plurality to perform data transmitting operation in the slot section Ts, and receives an acknowledge signal in the same slot section Ts with the next transmission cycle. The radio communication terminal B moves the slot section Ts wherein the data transmitting operation and the receiving operation for the acknowledge signal are performed when the acknowledge signal is not received.
