PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit capable of preventing vibration of a box body due to vibration propagation from a compressor and remarkably suppressing the occurrence of noise when the compressor is driven, and an air conditioner equipped with the outdoor unit. SOLUTION: The outdoor unit includes a blower chamber 2 having a blower 3 installed therein, the compressor 5, refrigerant piping, a gas valve 8 connected to the refrigerant piping, a machine chamber 4 having a liquid valve 9 installed therein, a partitioning plate 7 for partitioning the blower chamber 2 and the machine chamber 4, a valve fixing member 30 for fixing the gas valve 8 and the liquid valve 9, a machine chamber side face panel 18 having a flange 19 on a front side and blocking a side face rear part of the machine chamber 4, and a service panel 22 for blocking the front and the side face front part of the machine chamber 4. The valve fixing member 30 is formed in an oblong shape with one end fixed to the partitioning plate 7 and the other end fixed to the flange 19 of the machine chamber side face panel 18 via a vibration isolation member 45.
