<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device conveying a sheet again or continuously, when the sheet can be used as it is even after jamming. <P>SOLUTION: After conveyance of a recording paper sheet is stopped caused by jamming, it is determined whether the recording paper sheet can be used as it is based on the combination of detection output of paper detection sensors 73A, 73B, 73C. If the recording paper sheet can be used as it is, conveyance of the recording paper sheet is restarted to perform print processing of the recording paper sheet, so that the number of forcible delivery or removal of the recording paper sheet is reduced to speed up the print processing of the recording paper sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
