PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery terminal capable of suppressing that the battery terminal is broken by an excessive tightening torque at the time of nut-tightening of a terminal fixing bolt. SOLUTION: In the battery terminal equipped with an annular part 20 in order to be fitted with a battery post 71 to be protruded and installed at a battery, and a terminal fixing bolt 30 for nut-tightening of a connecting terminal 73 of a battery cable 72, this is equipped with a support part 40 to rotatably support the terminal fixing bolt 30 around the axis of the terminal fixing bolt 30, and a locking part 60 which is movable in nut-tightening between a first position locked to a head part 31 of the terminal fixing bolt 30 and a second position separated from the head part 31 of the terminal fixing bolt 30, and energized to the first position.
