PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having high sensitivity. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor is provided with a photosensitive layer containing at least an electron transporting agent, a charge generating agent and a binder resin, on a conductive substrate, wherein the electron transporting agent is a compound represented by general formula (1).
