PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and compact silent chain having high torque resistance, capable of preventing abrasion, elongation or breakage or the like by uniforming tensile force applied to each inner link plate by the deflection of a pin. SOLUTION: The silent chain includes a guide link row consisting of a pair of guide plates and a plurality of inner link plates, and a non-guide link row 130 consisting of a plurality of inner link plates with the inner link plates being alternately connected to each other. In the inner link plate of the non-guide link row 130, the inside diameters of a pair of front and rear pin holes are set to be different according to the distance from the guide plates.
