<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give depth to voice to be reproduced in a speech processing unit, and to amplify a low-pitched voice component in the voice. <P>SOLUTION: An emitter follower circuit 2 distributes a speech signal input from a speech signal generation circuit, or the like to two speech signals. In one speech signal, only the low-pitched sound component is extracted through a low-pass filter 3, and the phase is delayed by the circuit characteristics of the low-pass filter 3. One speech signal is added to the other, namely a speech signal that is substantially an input voice signal, for output, thus compositing the voice signal and the phase-shifted voice signal for output, and hence giving depth to the voice to be reproduced based on the output voice signal. Further, an original voice signal and the sound signal, where only the low-pitched sound component is extracted, are composited for output, thus amplifying a signal level in the low-frequency domain of the voice signal, and hence amplifying the low-pitched sound component of the voice to be reproduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
