LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND THE MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

A liquid crystal display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent the display quality from being degraded due to the leakage of light. A color filter(112) is formed so as to cover the first substrate and includes a black matrix and a color photoresistor. A photo spacer(115) is formed so as to be upwardly protruded on the black matrix of the color filter. The first transparent electrode(116) is arranged in the first direction so as to cover the color filter except the area in which the photo spacer is formed. The second substrate(121) is formed so as to be opposite to the first substrate. The second transparent electrode(122) is arranged in the second direction crossing the first direction so as to cover the second substrate.
