<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system in which players different in level can enjoy a game each other, and to provide a game control method. <P>SOLUTION: The game system includes: a competition result recording part for recording a competition result of one player with another player by each opponent; a ranking determining part for reading the competition result with the opponent from a handicap information recording part, a matching control part, and the competition result recording part in the competition game, and determining ranking, based on the competition result; a handicap selecting part for determining the kind of a settable handicap condition, based on a disparity, and allowing a low ranking player to select a handicap in the determined handicap condition; a handicap determining part for presenting the handicap selected by the low ranking player to the high ranking player, and allowing the high ranking player to determine whether or not to receive the handicap; and a handicap setting part for reading the handicap condition information corresponding to the handicap condition from the handicap information recording part, and setting the handicap in the competition game, based on the handicap condition information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
