<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane electrode assembly having excellent power generation efficiency in case of use for a fuel cell, because of low deterioration with time of catalyst action of a catalyst electrode layer, and little stay of product water. <P>SOLUTION: The membrane electrode assembly is made provided with a solid electrolyte membrane made of an electrolyte material, and a platinum black catalyst electrode layer made only of platinum black fine particles formed on both sides of the solid electrolyte membrane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
