摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double deck elevator enabled to adjust the landing positions of an upper cage and a lower cage.SOLUTION: A double deck elevator comprises: a cage frame body capable of moving up and down in a hoist-way; hoist means for moving up and down the cage frame; and upper and lower cage moving means. The upper cage and the lower cage are suspended up and down in the cage frame body by a rope. The moving means is disposed in the cage frame body and moves the upper cage and the lower cage in directions opposed to each other. The double deck elevator further comprises first detection means, second detection means and a control device. The first detection means issues a signal on the stop position of the upper cage, and the second detection means issues a signal on the stop position of the lower cage. In response to the signals of the first detection means and the second detection means, the control device moves the upper cage and the lower cage by the moving means, while raising and lowering the cage frame body by raising and lowering means.
