<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide transfer request handling processing method/program for efficiently performing a procedure when a reference telegram showing that transfer cannot be performed is received from a destination banking establishment. <P>SOLUTION: When a notice that transfer is impossible with respect to a transfer request is received, a management computer 21 specifies a handling section by using a transmission category data storage part 31 based on a transmission category included in the transfer request. When the handling category shows "Correction history recording is required", a transfer destination included in the transfer request with which transfer is impossible is retrieved by using a correction history data storage part 34 where the impossible transfer destination and a correction transfer destination are associated and recorded. An account identifier of the correction transfer destination, which is recorded in accordance with an impossible transfer destination account identifier, and a receiver name are acquired from the correction history data storage part 34. A reference slip showing them is created and it is transmitted to the user.
