The invention relates to a hydro-aircraft consisting of a hybrid single-shell craft having a large wing area, the lower and/or side and/or rear areas of which include one or more inclined flexible skis or blades. The skis and the wing surfacea lift the craft as it moves forward and maintain the craft above water. Once cruise speed has been reached the skis engage with the crests of the waves and maintain the height as a function of the power supplied by a power unit. Increasing the power makes it possible for the craft to fly.
